Our team will explore common challenges encountered during rehabilitations, along with approaches to mitigate construction issues through improved evaluation and planning.

Objectives:

 By the end of this course, participants will better be able to :

  • Identify the causes of corrosion and deterioration of lift station structures and components
  • Clarify the foundation for evaluating the complete system, including the force main
  • Explore how to determin unknown conditions and develop bid items to help avoid change orders
  • Analyze the challenges of bypass pumping during rehabilitation and improvements that can support this process
  • Review construction and inspection challenges to anticipate, along with best practices for avoiding them
