Course Information

Number:FNU0014246
Name:Building Reliability in Stormwater Pumping Facilities

New Course:Yes
Description:

Stormwater Pump Stations pose a unique challenge to municipalities and drainage districts due to their high capital cost and infrequent operation — they’re only needed during critical storm events. These facilities must be built to withstand the most extreme conditions without support from the outside world. Our team will discuss best practices from the federal government and show how lessons learned from local sponsors and implementation can translate into devising a low-maintenance, dependable pump station with integral redundancies.
