This Ethics class is meant to fulfill the one-hour ethics PDH credit for engineers.

Ethics is often referred to as the right or wrong way of doing things. But how do we act when no one is watching? During this course we will define ethics, look at the Professional Codes of Conduct for Engineers and analyze case studies that will help you explore and strengthen your own professional ethics.

Define Professional Ethics

Develop a Personal Code of Conduct

Analyze NSPE Board of Ethical Review Case Studies

Learn about the available resources on ethics


Objectives:

Learn to recognize ethical situations faced by engineers today

Analyze the issues of an ethical situation

Resolve the situation in a creative and professional manner
