We’ve all heard of Intelligence Quotient (IQ), but what about Emotional Quotient (EQ)? Emotional Intelligence, or EQ, is the standard used to measure one’s ability to control their emotions and migrate socially with others. This course is designed to heighten your emotional intelligence by learning the tools of self-awareness. Using an assessment tool, we will discuss the concepts surrounding EQ, their importance and analyze case studies and examples that are often seen in the workplace.

Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will have learned:

  • The definition of Emotional Intelligence
  • How to have greater self-awareness, self control, and self-motivation
  • About empathy
  • About social awareness
  • The importance of emotional intelligence to building good relationships
  • The consequences of unmanaged emotions on your personal effectiveness
